For my 80th year i'm taking a break from my third Degree to do something more active and physically challenging.

You also, may have noticed that as you get older the mantra seems to be, 'you can't do it?'  However, as the years go by I have found that, actually, given reasonable health,Yes, I can.

Having completed two degrees and now part way through a third, it seemed a good time to change the view from my window and move away from the computer, get some fresh air - SO - the adventure has begun to fulfil a dream of walking the Camino de Santiago as a salutation to my 80th year.

Two years ago my adventurous daugter and I went to Australia to care for my truly old (102) year old mother (see photo)  In 2014, as my mother becomes 103, my daughter and I will set off for Spain.

Today we are working out where in Spain we start the Camino;  many pilgrims begin in France, somethng we will not be doing!  Will I get blisters, get suburned, break my leg, discover more of God?  Hey Ho  - follow my blog and discover!

Hi I'm Angela
